The Light We Keep
$10.00
17/12/2025
This experience took place inside a private residence for sale, presented in collaboration with Fantastic Frank Barcelona and Cereria Subirà — Barcelona’s oldest candle makers.
The home was activated through a candle-making session led by Julia Subirà, inviting participants to engage with light as a domestic material while inhabiting the space together. Candles were crafted inside handmade ceramic vessels created by Inga Fadina of Luna Pottery, introducing an additional layer of materiality and craft.
The gathering unfolded through shared gestures and presence — accompanied by curated desserts and drinks, themed elements, live DJ music, and discreet photo and video documentation — allowing the home to be experienced as a lived environment rather than a listing.
Through light, craft, sound, and community, the experience explored how everyday acts can reveal the atmosphere, memory, and emotional potential of a space.
Location
The neighborhood features impeccably designed modernist buildings, excellent connectivity, and a rich selection of dining, shopping, and cultural options. Its refined character and central location make it one of the most sought-after areas for property investment in the city.

Founded in 1761, Cereria Subirà is the oldest candle shop still operating in Barcelona. Located in the heart of the city’s Gothic Quarter, the shop welcomes visitors into a timeless interior: a baroque-style space with its original 19th-century double staircase, ornamental columns, and classic shelves, evoking the charm of a different era.
